She may not be the world's largest baby,but this Russian baby is big!Nadia,a 17 pound,1 ounce baby,was born to a Siberian woman Tatyana Barabanova,43 in Barnaul,Russia. Tatyana who already has eleven kids prior to Nadia says that she was stunned to find out that her baby weighed 17 Pounds."We were all in shock.[Nadia's father]just stood there blinking." Not only would i have stood there just blinking,my mouth would have been wide opened as well.

Baby Nadia's mother says that she and her family did not have money for "special foods" so she ate a lot of potatoes,tomatoes,and noodles. Tatyana admits that all of her eleven kids all weighed more than 11 pounds!The average weight for a newborn baby is 7pounds,6ounces(that is about how much i weighed).The Guinness World Records lists a 22 pound, 4 ounce baby boy born in Italy in 1955, and a 23 pound, 8 ounce baby boy who was born in the United States in 1879 but died 11 hours later.
