The coroner in Cleveland says Sean Levert, the son of lead O'Jays singer Eddie Levert and brother of the late R&B singer Gerald Levert, has died after a medical emergency in jail. Thirty-nine-year-old Sean Levert was sent to jail last week for failing to pay child support. He died late Sunday night at Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland.The coroner says an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.ean Levert's MySpace page is already filling up with posts of sympathy.READ MORE

Rapper T.I.pleaded guilty yesterday to federal weapons possession charges and will receive a sentence that includes prison time after he completes a period of community service. In the year that he is awaiting sentencing, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs, and drugs. He will be sentenced to serve about 12 months in prison after completing the community service, officials said. (AP)

British Singer Corinne Bailey's husband was found dead on Saturday,the victim of a drug overdose.Via PEOPLE.COM:

The husband of British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae was found dead in an apartment in Leeds, England, the BBC reports. A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the home where they found saxophonist Jason Rae, 31, Saturday afternoon. In connection with the case, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs, and was since released on bail, according to police. Reports say that Rae was the victim of a suspected overdose, however, results of a post mortem exam were inconclusive. Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology report, according to the BBC. Rae had been scheduled to play a gig with his band The Haggis Horns at the HiFi Club in Leeds Sunday. The show has been canceled. Bailey Rae, 29, and her husband met when the singer worked in as a coat room attendant at a jazz club in Leeds. They married in 2001. Bailey Rae's record label offered condolences to the singer in a statement released Sunday, saying, "EMI Records would like to offer its sincere condolences to Corinne Bailey Rae and the Rae family at this tragic time. We ask that the media respects Corinne's privacy and that of her entire family."

Halle Berry has revealed the name of her newborn daughter: Nahla Ariela Aubry.
The baby girl, who was born Sunday is the first for the Oscar winning actress and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry. A day after Nahla's birth, Aubry's sister, Eugenie, told PEOPLE, "It's been a long time since we've had a new baby in the family. It's very exciting." Nahla means honeybee in Arabic. Berry, 41, tells Access Hollywood, "We didn't have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital."

"For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her," Berry adds.

The News reported the incredibly bizarre case of a woman in Ness City, Kan., who sat on her boyfriend's toilet for two years -- becoming stuck to the seat as her skin literally grew around it. For all that time, the boyfriend, whom authorities would not identify, took her food and water, and, he told Ness County Sheriff's officers, begged her to come out. But he apparently never thought to call for help until Feb. 27.

Barack Obama has won what could be an influential endorsement among reggae fans: Jamaican singer Cocoa Tea, who's backing the Illinois senator in a new tune.

"This is not about class nor color, race nor creed," the veteran dancehall crooner sings in a version posted on the video Web site Dailymotion. "It's about the changes, what the Americans need."

The song goes on to call Obama a "trendsetter" and urge Americans "to unite as one" behind him.Cocoa Tea, whose real name is Calvin Scott, said Sunday that the tribute song "Barack Obama" will be released this week by New York's VP Records.

"The young people who are supporting him want change — and that's what he represents," said the singer, whose laid-back lyrical style made him a local star in the 1980s.

He becomes the second major Caribbean musician to endorse Obama in song, joining Trinidadian calypso star Mighty Sparrow who recently recorded a track titled "Barack the Magnificent."

The Helen Bamber Foundation is a British human rights organisation benefiting survivors of the sex slave trade. Mel-B claimed that she took the step to stress the fact that women have beautiful bodies and it's important to help them. "I'm curvier now I've had kids but I like the way I look. U.K.'s Fabulous Magazine recently interviewed Rihanna and one of the topics that was discussed was her rumored relationship with singer Chris Brown. Check out a few highlights from the interview:

YOU have an amazing figure. How do you stay in shape? A lot of hard work and a lot of running on the treadmill. Cardio is the key. I have a personal trainer who travels with me if we have a big event coming up. I work out every day but I need a trainer to motivate me – I don’t find it much fun working out on my own.

What do you like about your body?My bum, and I keep working at it as I want it to be perfect. It makes my clothes look good – and guys like it!

And what do you like least?My legs. I’m insecure about them. Everyone wants to have slim, perfectly-toned legs and I’m the same. I do weights but I don’t want my legs to bulk up so I do a lot of cardio. I’ve lost a lot of weight since I started working out and if I exercise every day for a week, I can drop several pounds. If I diet, I see even faster results.

Do you have a strict diet? Carbs are the enemy but if I go three days without them, I start getting weak. If my trainer had her way, I’d eat small meals every three hours, but I sometimes only eat once or twice a day. I have egg whites and pineapple for breakfast with hot water and lemon. For lunch I have fish and potatoes. I hate vegetables but I make myself eat them. For dinner I have fish again.

Does size matter? Not at all. My size varies – sometimes I’m a (US) 2, sometimes 4 (UK 6 or 8) – but what matters is being fit and healthy. Being slim makes me feel better about myself. It boosts my self-esteem, and having a toned body helps with my job because I wear a lot of skimpy costumes. My weight fluctuates, but I don’t weigh myself every day. I’m 5ft 8in and weigh around 9st 7lb.

Would you have cosmetic surgery? I don’t think so, but I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t in the future. If my breasts started to drop, I might not like that. But for the next 20-25 years, I’m going to stay as natural as possible.

What’s the downside to fame? I hardly get home to Barbados because I have a demanding schedule, and I do miss it. The bad thing is that I’m away from my culture, friends and family, and good home cooking. It’s tough being on your own in a hotel room on the other side of the world. But for every sad situation there’s a good one – I get to do amazing things and go to places I once could only dream of.

Authorities are still trying to understand what may have led the 17-year-old son of a suburban Atlanta sheriff's deputy to shoot to death his mother -- who was the deputy -- and his two young sisters.

Gwinnett County authorities were still investigating the shootings yesterday at the family home where the bodies of 39-year-old deputy Joy Deleston and her daughters, 11-year-old Micaiah and four-year-old Jelani were found Thursday night. Anthony Tyrone Terrell Junior is charged with murder and is being held without bond in neighboring DeKalb County to avoid any potential conflict because Deleston worked for Gwinnett County.
