Rapper Foxy Brown has been released from prison on [Friday] as expected.She had been spending time on Rikers Island for a series of violations of her probation, and spent 8 out of a 12 month prison sentence behind bars.
Police were waiting and observing as she left the facility, taking time to hug hundreds of fans who had come to greet her dismissal from prison.Brown left the location in the back of a chauffeured white Rolls-Royce Phantom being closely followed by her caravan of security and paparazzi.
Her upcoming album which has been delayed due to her being in prison is to be released in May and is entitled Brooklyn’s Don Diva.
“She’s ready to hit the ground running and do anything she needs to do to get her career back on point,” said her manager Chaz Williams.
